Wishing everyone a happy April Fools’ Day!
Here’s a book to fool you with a bunch of faux facts, fake creatures, fantasy worlds, fiction stories, and a few plain old-fashioned lies.
I shared this opportunity at the NAC arts market (March 2026) and invited people who stopped at the booth to add their own page to add to the book, and they did! It was fun to see the many different ways people responded to the prompt. Some shared interesting (yet fake) “facts”; some illustrated new (yet fake) insects, animals, creatures, and machines; some wrote whole (short) stories of fantasy worlds. Thank you all so much, I really appreciate you joining in on this impromptu community project!
Here are all the pages, in no particular order.

The cover itself is also faux, because the name of the paper I used for the cover is “aged leather” but it’s not old, and it’s not leather, either. 🙂

This project was done in response to the prompt for #areyoubookenough_faux (March 2026).
In other news, here’s where you can find my book about life lessons from the garden, hopefully it will bring some hope, encouragement and inspiration to you, too. (available at Lulu)
Thank you for your visit today!
