Saw this wonderful image on an old LP cover and was determined to give it a new life as a book cover for someone who likes to draw pictures of dresses, because I thought this would be an inspiring cover image for those drawings. Book size is 14×17 in, with regular white paper for the pages.
For the end papers, I collaged pictures of patterns cut from old magazine articles, on a green background.

coptic stitch binding is still my favorite and I was especially glad that the sewing thread I already happened to have in the house was a perfect match for this project, yay!

Added a piece of red ribbon on the back cover just because it seemed to need a little something extra to connect it with the red dress from the front cover.
