This was my own book from childhood … I always loved Aesop’s Fables so much, that I loved the cover right off the book! I had saved it all these years, though, and was so excited when I heard someone new had discovered the joy of fables! I used an old vest that was dark green leather, cut that up to make a cover and passed it down for the next generation to love.

This cover was from an old vest that I cut up to re-use the leather.

Then I found this greeting card that was very pretty and the colors matched nicely, so I cut off a piece to use for a bookmark.
