Puzzle book that describes fake “extinct animals” that I made up completely out of thin air, as a way to explain how to un-do some disentanglement puzzles. The puzzle is the “skeleton” of the animal, and the book includes instructions about how to solve the puzzle, but those instructions are disguised as “operative procedures” using anatomical terms. This book was a lot of fun to work on! “Extinct Animals” took a long time to complete but I’m very happy with how it turned out!
This picture shows the “Bat Fly” anatomy (the puzzle) and a drawing of “how we think it might have looked based on the skeletal record”. 🙂
