I used old maps to decorate this box, the top is east Texas (Nacogdoches to Houston to Woodville, approximately), and the bottom is the Gulf of Mexico. Cities on the sides include Lubbock, Corpus Christie, and others.

Once it was all done, I put in some special souvenirs from the local area and a gift was born!

I especially liked how the inside/bottom turned out, with the pine trees and the starry night together.
