An exploding book!

First, I found a huge old map, on very heavy paper.

Then, I carefully cut it in just the right way so that it could be folded down into a small package, and unfolded again later.

I added heavy board to the strategic right places to create “covers”.

Once it was all carefully folded up again, I tied it up with leather and added a luggage tag just for fun.

A fun project!
